Company guidance

Renewing its commitment to the health of workers and their families, Renner Italia has been implementing “Common guidance for the regulation of measures to fight and contain the spread of covid-19 virus in workplaces” from Friday 24th April. This regulation, signed by the Government of the Italian Republic and the social partners on 14th March and updated on 24th April 2020, is attached to the Dpcm of 26th April 2020.

 

The new company guidance collects and reinforces the company regulations already communicated on 12th March and 6th April 2020.

SUPPLIERS' VISITS

Each visitor is required to comply with specific rules for the access to the plants. These rules, communicated on Wednesday 22nd April 2020, require the authorisation of the departments managers; arrival at two reception points situated in via Ronchi Inferiore 7 and 34; body temperature measurement; hand hygiene; equipment and use of the surgical mask; maintaining safety distances.

STAY OF TRUCKDRIVERS

Truckdrivers are forbidden from entering the company spaces. Couriers must therefore remain in the service area in front of the loading docks and will be able to use the toilets for their exclusive use.

BODY TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT

The body temperature of all employees is measured every day. Access to plants with a temperature above 37.2°C is not permitted. At each entrance, a person in charge carries out the monitoring in the following terms: in the event of a temperature above 37.2°C, the measurement is repeated 3 times; with an average above 37.2°C, the employee is not allowed to enter the company spaces and is invited to contact his or her doctor.

HAND HYGIENE

Each employee is required to sanitise his or her hands with an alcoholic detergent provided at each entrance. Frequent hand washing with soap and water is also required.

PROTECTIVE MASKS

The company gives to each employee a protective mask and a disclosure statement for its correct use. The use of the protective mask is mandatory for those who share common areas.

SAFETY DISTANCES

Inside the production site the conditions for respecting the interpersonal distance of one metre have been created. All meetings are suspended and gatherings of all kinds are forbidden.

LUNCH BREAK

The meal service is carried out in compliance with interpersonal safety distances.

SYSTEMATIC SANITATION OF SPACES

A team is in place for the sanitation of all work environments. Sanitation is cyclical and is carried out in empty spaces. Air exchange is required in all spaces (offices, changing rooms, workers, etc.).

ATTENTION IN CHANGING ROOMS

New methods of access to the changing rooms have been prescribed in order to keep safety distances. In these spaces, it is necessary to stay as little as possible and the exchange of air is encouraged more frequently.

JOB-PROTECTED LEAVE

Workers with flu symptoms and/or febrile illness should not reach the workplace, but should contact their doctor.

REDUCED TRAVELS

Employees, who are not linked to production or other services for which a physical presence in the company is indispensable, perform work from home through so-called smart working. National and international business trips are suspended.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION

Company guidelines and activities aimed at preventing and fighting covid-19 are systematically communicated to staff and visitors through the publication and dissemination of specific information.
